Mercure Industries ("we", "us") brokers heavy equipment and industrial machinery between businesses. This policy explains what information we collect through mercureindustries.com, email and our transactions, and how we use it.

Information we collect

  • Contact details you give us: name, company, job title, email, phone and location.
  • Equipment details: make, model, year, serial number, hours, condition, photos and asking price or budget.
  • Transaction details: agreements, e-signature records, escrow status and shipping arrangements.
  • Email correspondence with us, including replies to our outreach.
  • Basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, used to keep the site working.

We may also use publicly available business information, such as company closure notices and industrial property listings, to contact businesses that may have equipment to sell.

How we use it

  • To value equipment and prepare listing and purchase agreements.
  • To match equipment with buyers and buyers with equipment.
  • To run e-signature, escrow and payment steps for a sale.
  • To communicate with you about current and future deals.
  • To prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Confidentiality between buyers and sellers

We keep buyer and seller identities confidential from each other until a transaction requires otherwise. Requests shown on our Equipment Wanted board never include names, companies or contact details.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate, such as email delivery, e-signature (DocuSign), escrow (Escrow.com) and website hosting, and with the counterparty to a transaction when needed to complete it, or when required by law.

Email and opting out

You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message or by replying "unsubscribe". We honor opt-outs and stop sending further outreach to that address.

Retention and security

We keep records of deals and correspondence for as long as needed for business, tax and legal purposes. We use access controls and encrypted connections to protect the information we hold, though no system is perfectly secure.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law. Residents of some states, such as California, may have additional rights under local law.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy and will post the new date above. For privacy questions or requests, reply to any email from us or use the contact form on our homepage.
